Are your products new or second hand?
All products are second hand unless stated.

Is there a warranty on items that I buy from CeX?
Yes, CeX offer a 12-month warranty on all products excluding consumables.
This warranty covers all faults arising during the course of normal use, and does not cover physical damage or water damage. Please view our Terms and Conditions for further warranty details.
If your item develops a fault and is covered under our warranty, please follow the details in our returns procedures [listed below]. Please note that repairs under warranty can take up to 28 working days. Is there a minimum amount I need to spend with you?
Yes, there is a minimum £2 spend per order. Please note this is not per item.

What payment options do I have?
Currently we accept most credit or debit cards. Please view the bottom of each page of our website for a list of the type of cards we accept.
You may also redeem your CeX voucher against your order, however you must first place an order using your credit or debit card.

How do I pay using CeX voucher?
If you wish to redeem a CeX exchange voucher against your order, these must be mailed to us after first placing an order with your credit card. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more information.
We strongly advise that all vouchers are sent with some form of traceable delivery method, as CeX cannot accept responsibility for any vouchers not received.
CeX reserves the right to return the voucher/s to the customer and not accept them as part or whole payment for your order.

Are the quantities available to buy online live?
Yes, however please be aware that occasionally, particularly on items where there is a single item of stock available, there may be a situation when the item is purchased within the store moments before it has been allocated to our online customers. These are situations beyond our control and we will notify you if this happens immediately.

How much will delivery cost me?
All deliveries are free of charge

Where will you deliver my goods?
We currently only deliver to UK addresses, and for security reasons we can only send items to the billing address of the card used for payment of your order.
*Please note: Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays are not classed as a working day for either the dispatch or delivery of goods.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Items that are in stock are usually dispatched within 24 hours via Royal Mail First Class, and delivery will usually take 2–5 working days. We will advise you by email when your order has been dispatched; please note your order may be dispatched in more than one package. *Please note: Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays are not classed as a working day for either the dispatch or delivery of goods.

What method do you use to send packages out?
Items that are in stock are usually dispatched within 24 hours via Royal Mail First Class, and delivery will usually take 2–5 working days. We will advise you by email when your order has been dispatched; please note your order may be dispatched in more than one package.
All items over £50 will be sent via next-day courier service. Orders must be placed before 3pm to ensure next-day delivery.

Can I have my order sent to an address other than my own?
No. For security reasons we are only able to make delivery to the cardholder’s address.
Please note that we do not ship to PO Box addresses.

Where's my order?
If you have not received your order within 28 days of the "confirmation of dispatch" email (sent to the email address registered to your account when you place the order), please contact us and we will be more than happy to rectify the situation.

Why have I been charged although I have not yet received my order? Most banks allocate funds at the time of placing an order. In the event that your goods cannot be sourced, we will not charge you for these items and the allocation will be returned to your account within 1-5 working days.
If the items have been sourced, your account will be charged by CeX Ltd and this amount will appear on your statement.

What's your policy on lost in transit deliveries?
Having recently placed your order you can follow the delivery guidelines above to give you an idea of when you can expect delivery of your goods. If you have not received your order within 28 days of the conformation of dispatch email (sent to the email address registered to your account when you place the order), please contact us via email and we will be more than happy to rectify the situation.
It may also be advisable to contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding the order, having already tried unsuccessfully to deliver it to you. Orders shipped via courier require the customer's signature upon delivery and cannot be released by the driver without this.



Overdue Delivery

Having recently placed your order you can follow the delivery guidelines above to give you an idea of when you can expect delivery of your goods. Returns Policy

What are CeX.co.uk’s returns policies?
Items may be returned for refund or exchange provided CeX is notified via email within eight [8] days of delivery of the item. CeX must also be notified via email of any items that have been delivered incorrectly or incomplete within eight [8] days of delivery of the item.
Please note: items must be returned to CeX in order for any refunds or exchanges to take place.
Outside of eight [8] days CeX reserves the right to refuse any refund or exchange requested for items which are not faulty; CeX can also not rectify any problems with incorrect or incomplete orders outside of this time.

How do I return an item?
Items may be returned for refund or exchange provided CeX is notified via email within eight [8] days of delivery of the item.

Emails must be sent to email, and must contain your order number, the title of the item's you are returning, and the reason for return.
Merchandise must be in same condition as when it was sent with all accessories and manuals that came with it, including a copy of the invoice and a short note detailing the reason you are requesting a refund or exchange.
Defective merchandise will be fully tested to verify the fault. Should an item not be found to be defective it will be dispatched back to you, however should an item be found to be defective we will first seek to repair or replace the item. If no repair or replacement can be issued, a refund will be given.
Please note: Our refunds and returns policy may be restricted against titles that are exclusively for online play.
Please note that we cannot accept refunds or returns if you deliver them to us by hand, and as such refunds and returns can also not be carried out in CeX stores.

Cancelling an Order

Once your order has been placed we are unable to cancel orders. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract after your order has been placed, items may be returned for refund or exchange provided CeX is notified via email at within eight [8] days of delivery of the item. CeX must also be notified via email at of any items that have been delivered incorrectly or incomplete within eight [8] days of delivery of the item.

Products

Will your games work on my non-UK system?
Our video games are PAL (UK and Europe) versions, and as such you must have a PAL video game system to play them. We do not sell imported video games. All PC (Computer) products that we sell should work on any PC system, provided it matches at least the minimum requirements to play the game (minimum requirements are viewable on the product pages for PC games, or alternatively on the box).

What about DVDs?
We only sell Region 2 DVDs, or Region 0 DVD that have been classified by the BBFC. There are six world Regions for DVD - Region 2 covers the UK, Europe, The Middle East and Japan. Discs manufactured in one region will usually only play on players that were manufactured for sale in the same region, so discs bought in the USA will not play on UK players and vice versa. Please check your DVD manual, or with the manufacturer, if in doubt.

Why are some phones of the same make and model different prices?
We will charge you more depending on the condition of our phones. We break this down into three grades:

Grade A - These phones will be in good physical condition and come with all the original contents as sold when new.
Grade B - These will be in reasonable physical condition, but can have slight blemishes on the case. They may be missing their original box, and one or two accessories. They will come with a charger.
Grade C - These will be in full working order, but otherwise the condition is irrelevant. They may not come with box or accessories, but will come with a charger.

Will the phone I buy work on any network?
Each phone listed on our website will display the network it is compatible with.

Are your items all boxed with instructions?
Phones: See Grading System above.
Games: All games will be sold in their original box, however the instruction manual is not guaranteed. All PC CD-Rom games which require a serial key will come complete with instructions.
DVDs: All DVDs will come complete with original box.
Consoles: Consoles: All consoles will come complete with the original box, unless ‘Unboxed’ is stated in the product title. These will be in excellent condition unless stated as follows:

Are your prices in UK Pounds Sterling?
Yes, all prices listed are in UK Pounds Sterling.

Are some of your products age rated?
Any product with a BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) rating will be clearly described as such on the product page for that item. For further information on BBFC ratings, see the Video Standards Council website. Additionally, we also display PEGI ratings. PEGI stands for Pan-European Games Information and is the new standard throughout Europe. PEGI age ratings are a guide and simply indicate what age you're likely to have to be to understand how to play the game). PEGI ratings can also warn of the type of content in a game - for example sexual content, violence or bad language.
Warning: It is an offence to attempt to buy a certificated title if you are under age or to attempt to purchase one on behalf of someone else that is under age.

Can I trade the items I have purchased?
As soon as you've finished playing with your games, watching your DVDs or simply want to upgrade your phone, MP3 player or any other of the many products that we deal with, simply sell them back to us for cash or take them to your nearest CeX store for a trade in.
